Camping in the great outdoors

The Columbia River Gorge offers numerous camping opportunities.  There are a large number of free camping areas as well as designed campgrounds (with running water, RV hook-ups, etc.). State, federal and private campgrounds, on both sides of the Columbia River, are enticing spots for weekend getaways or extended stays while having something to offer everyone.
