The Columbia River Gorge is rich in natural beauty with something different to see around every corner. Visitors will find they can capture the beauty from the window of their car by taking a scenic drive along the river. Or if you prefer you can see the heart of the gorge by riding on an old fashioned sternwheeler boat. Taking a wine tour to visit the many wineries allows you to see attractions along the way.  You can follow the footsteps of Lewis and Clark as you hike the historic trails they once explored. Whitewater rafting is also a great way to experience the Northwest scenery in the spectacular river canyons. You will see the Cascade Mountain range which is home to 14 major peaks and cinder cones, including Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood and Mt. Saint Helens.
